The following information is from the Mr. Thomas Hickey, Superintendent of
\nSchools for South Shore Vocational Technical High School. We are so lucky
\nto have SSVT in our midst here in Hanover, and so I thought we could help
\nthem with their due diligence as they prepare for their school renovation
\nand expansion. We will all benefit! Please read on and consider joining
\ntheir community forum next week.<\/p>\n
“As you are likely aware, South Shore Tech is in the early stages of the
\nMSBA School Building program. This summer parents, students, faculty and
\nadministrators are participating in a series of three \u2018visioning
\nsessions\u2019 to help compile a list of the characteristics and qualities we
\nwant to see in a new\/renovated school. We had our first session on June
\n20th. This process will help inform our design team who will be using the
\nvisioning work to create drafts of school designs over the next 6 months.<\/p>\n
There is a community forum planned for July 13, 2023 on Zoom

\nfor anyone interested in learning more about what the committee is
\ndiscussing. We will share all findings at the end of the visioning process
\nin late July\/early August, and the sessions will be recorded and posted to
\na school building project webpage that is currently being built for launch
\nin the summer. <\/p>\n
