Hanover Woman’s Club, Juniors will once again sponsor their annual
\nHalloween Parade. Children and parents have enjoyed this annual event for
\nover 40 years. Children of all ages are encouraged to dress in their
\nscariest, sweetest or most imaginative costume they might conjure up. The
\nevent will be held on Sunday, October 29 with check in beginning at 11:15
\na.m. and the parade starting at 11:30 a.m. The parade will be held at
\nHanover High School. <\/p>\n
The participants will march around the outdoors of the high school led by
\nthe Hanover High School band also decked out in costume. In case of rain,
\nthe event will be moved indoors. Following the parade, parents and children
\nwill move indoors to enjoy a medley of tunes performed by the band.
\nEntertainment will follow with the children being taught a dance for
\nHalloween followed by a sing along. In the spirit of Halloween, the
\nchildren will be able to trick or treat table to table at the end of the
\nevent. Treat bags will be supplied by the club. Parents\/adult must remain
\nwith their children during the event. <\/p>\n
Cost for the event is $5.00 per child and may be paid on entering by cash,
\ncheck or Venmo. No preregistration is needed. <\/p>\n
Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item per child for
\ndonation to the Hanover Food Pantry. <\/p>\n
