\nJoin the Historical Society for some special events and see for yourself! <\/p>\n
House of Ghosts and Creepy Dolls.
\nSaturday, October 28th, 12 noon to 4:00 p.m.
\nVisit the historic Drummer Samuel Stetson House, one of the oldest in
\nHanover, on Saturday, October 28th from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. when it will
\nbe decorated with ghosts and \u201ccreepy dolls.\u201d Explore collections, tour
\nthe house, and share some Hanover ghost stories. This fun and
\nfamily-friendly event will get you in the Halloween spirit!<\/p>\n
Stories from Stones: A History Tour of Hanover\u2019s Center Cemetery
\nSunday, October 29th, 3:00 p.m., meet at the entrance near the First Parish
\nChurch.
\nNothing says late October more than an old New England cemetery a few days
\nbefore Halloween. Join Hanover Historical Society Executive Director and
\ncemetery expert Stephen O\u2019Neill for a tour of Hanover\u2019s Center
\nCemetery. Learn the history of Hanover\u2019s oldest burying ground, its grave
\nmarkers and memorials, and the stories found among the cemetery\u2019s stones.
\nThe tour will last about an hour.<\/p>\n
