Volunteer in Book Sale Land at the John Curtis Free Library, Hanover!<\/p>\n
Revenue from the sale of books and puzzles at the John Curtis Free Library,
\n534 Hanover Street, Hanover, provides programing, passes, and funds for
\nother needs at our local library.<\/p>\n
Managed by a small group of dedicated volunteers, tasks include sorting and
\nshelving appropriate donations and maintaining the tidiness of the area.
\nNever knowing the condition of the room upon arrival, an hour +\/- per visit
\nmight be necessary.<\/p>\n
Several volunteers choose to work one day a week. Others fill in the gaps
\nand work two or three days of a week, but only once every eight or nine
\nweeks. Each volunteer signs up for what meshes with personal commitments
\nwhen a new calendar is posted. Somehow it all works!<\/p>\n
Although the book sale space is open to patrons whenever the library is
\nopen, volunteers work at their convenience.<\/p>\n
