Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

The
\nJunior Southeast Massachusetts School Bandmasters Association (SEMSBA), which
\nwas established in 1950, held its concert on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at East
\nMiddle School in Braintree, Massachusetts. The purpose of SEMSBA has been to
\nraise the standard of school instrumental and choral music, as well as promote
\ngreater community interest in school music programs. These selected students
\nhave the opportunity to come together to experience the enjoyment of performing
\nsome of the world’s best musical literature. Students in grades 7 through 9
\nfrom 30 school districts tried out for SEMSBA in February to fill
\nspots in the chorus, band and orchestra. I am pleased to announce that Hanover
\nstudent Bryana Koch was selected to be in the band and Hanover students Anna
\nMoran, Jessica Kenny, Kendra Cameron and Abigail Adams were selected for the chorus.
