This past Friday, 11\/1 at noon was the last day and time for any registered
\nHanover voter to Vote Early In-Person without an excuse. As of Sunday
\n(today as I write this), over 4,800 voters, or 39% of our registered
\nvoters, have voted early either by mail or in-person. If you requested a
\nballot by mail and it is still sitting on your kitchen counter, NOW is the
\ntime to return it to the ballot drop box outside Town Hall. It is due to
\nthat box by the close of polls on Tuesday! Want to know if the Town

And so, the rest of us are officially on to Election Day! Below please
\nfind some information to help you to cast your vote on Tuesday, November
\n5th, 2024.<\/p>\n
All four Hanover precincts vote at Hanover High School, 287 Cedar Street.
\nSchool will be closed that day. Voters are encouraged to park in the back
\nsimply because it is closer to the polls, but the front doors will be open
\ntoo. There’s also more parking in front than in back. We expect to set
\nrecord numbers at this election, so come early and expect to wait in line.
\nPolls will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
Help us to avoid lines by deciding now how you plan to vote, especially on
\nthe 5 questions that will be on the ballot since they are long. Here is

Hanover’s own Mom on the Go Food Truck will be slinging grilled cheese
\nsandwiches from 11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the back of the high school near
\nthe track. Skip meal prep, bring the kids and spend some time studying
\nyour booklet while you eat before you go in!<\/p>\n
Are you physically unable to get to the polls? Will you be out of town on
\nElection Day ALL day between 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.? Do you have a
\nreligious belief that prevents you from coming to the polls on Tuesday? If
\nyou can answer yes to one of these questions, and are willing to sign an
\naffidavit attesting so, then you qualify for an absentee ballot. Absentee
\nballots are available over the counter from 8:00 a.m. – 12 noon ONLY on
\nMonday, November 4th in the Town Clerk’s Office. The voter has to appear
\nin person.<\/p>\n
The Town Clerk’s Office will close at noon on Monday in order to set up and
\nprepare for the election. Please use your electronic resources to answer
