The Committee to Re-Elect Cathy Harder-Bernier is hosting a campaign
\nfundraiser to benefit the Hanover Teachers’ Association on Thursday, March
\n27, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the 110 Grill, 1775 Washington
\nStreet in Hanover. Appetizers will be served, and a cash bar will be
\navailable. All are welcome to attend, especially children!<\/p>\n
Regardless of where you stood on last year’s Prop 2 1\/2 override question,
\nthe failure of the question and the subsequent impact on the teachers of
\nHanover has made for a challenging year for those still teaching in our
\ndistrict. 36 positions were lost, including too many bright young teachers,
\nand those who remained inherited larger class sizes, heavy teaching loads
\nand stress. Half of the proceeds of this event will go to the new Hanover
\nTeacher’s Association’s Health and Wellness Fund, with the other half to
\nthe campaign.<\/p>\n
