The Hanover Woman’s Club, Juniors invites the public to join them for a
\nslide presentation on “Women’s Role in the Military: Then and Now”
\npresented by Lynn Stader of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of MA.
\nThe event will take place on April 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the John Curtis Free
\nLibrary in Hanover.<\/p>\n
This slide presentation pays tribute to the contributions of women in
\nservice to our nations’ military from the Revolutionary War to the present.
\n Lynne’s program highlights changes in opportunities for women serving
\ntheir country. <\/p>\n
A Navy wife and longtime advocate of women’s clubs and women’s issues,
\nLynne has held the role of President of GFWC of Ma, has served as a member
\nof the Board of Directors of GFWC of MA, and the Women’s History and
\nResource Center in Washington DC. Lynne is a retired Language Arts
\nteacher, teaching 28 years in Pelham NH before working at Stony Brook
\nMiddle school in Westford. Lynne has presented workshops for teachers and
\nhas continued public speaking since retirement. <\/p>\n
