Hanover Woman\u2019s Club, Juniors will once again host its annual
\nCandidates\u2019 Night on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The event will
\nbe held as a Zoom webinar. Candidates\u2019 Night is an annual event hosted
\nby the club that features candidates running for office in Hanover. The
\nprogram, led by a moderator, consists of a short presentation by each
\ncandidate running for office followed by a question-and-answer period. The
\nforum is open to the public for viewing on Zoom or the Hanover cable
\nchannel, channel 36 for Verizon and 8 for Comcast. This gives those
\nattending a chance to hear the views of the candidates on issues affecting
\nthe town. Hearing the candidates in this setting will give town residents
\nthe opportunity to cast an educated vote during town elections on May 17. <\/p>\n

There are a total of 10 anticipated open seats. On the ballot this spring
\nwill be elections for one member of the Select Board for a three-year term,
\none member of the School Committee for a three-year term, one member of the
\nBoard of Assessors for a three- year term and one member for a one-year
\nterm, one member of the Planning Board for a five-year term and one member
\nfor a one-year term, one Board of Health member for a three-year term, one
\nTrustee of the Public Library for a three-year term, one Town Clerk for a
\nthree-year term and one Moderator for a one-year term.<\/p>\n
Question guidelines: They don\u2019t accept questions for individual
\ncandidates. If there are more than one of the same questions, they will be
\ncombined. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, not all questions can be
\nasked. <\/p>\n
The public may submit questions for the candidates to the Club\u2019s email

\nclub will be unable to respond to you if your question will not be asked.
