“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” Hanover’s Annual Town Meeting
\n2025 begins next Monday, May 5th, 2025! Here are the highlights that you
\nneed to know before you go:<\/p>\n
– The Special Town Meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. at Hanover High School, 287
\nCedar Street.
\n– Check in will start via the front doors at 6:00 p.m. The back doors to
\nHHS will be locked. Come early if you want to park near the front doors
\nand have a shorter distance to walk. Please carpool as parking will be
\nlimited.
\n– If you would like to bring your kids, childcare will be provided
\nbeginning at 6:30 p.m. Here is the link to register them:

– The Annual Town Meeting starts at 7:30 p.m., also at the high school.
\n– There is no absentee voting for Town Meeting. Registered voters may only
\nvote in person.
\n– Last year there were lines to check in. Plan to wait if you come close
\nto 7:00-7:30 p.m. And, come earlier. :)<\/p>\n

Student groups will be on-site selling snacks and tickets to the Memorial
\nDay Pancake Breakfast. Bring cash and plan to snack in the cafe, not in
\nTown Meeting.<\/p>\n
If Town Meeting goes a second night, it will likely continue to Tuesday,
\nMay 6th, but those in attendance at the end of the night will make that
\ndecision. Remember that any decisions made Monday night may be
\nreconsidered the second night.<\/p>\n
