Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Hanover’s Annual Town Meeting concluded its business in two nights this
\nyear, and we are moving on to the Election on May 17th. This evening,
\nTuesday, May 6th, the town chose to raise numerous fees in an effort to
\nhelp our revenue stream going forward, but to not create a study committee
\nto review the Town Manager Act. We debated the MBTA Zoning Act and decided
\nto not decide, all while appropriating money for affordable housing,
\nnonetheless.<\/p>\n
Stay tuned for additional information about the Annual Town Election, but
\nfor now, please join me in appreciating the incredible volunteer service of
\nboth our Select Board and our Advisory Committee that got us to this point
\nin time. They are our friends and neighbors, and their contributions to
\nthe good health of our town deserves our thanks and praise. I for one am
\ngrateful to all of them.<\/p>\n
