The Hanover Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, October
\n20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the MBTA Housing Act and proposed zoning
\namendments related to multi-family housing in Hanover.<\/p>\n

\n. Please note that as of this writing, the public hearing is confirmed for
\n7:00 p.m., but that the Planning Board meeting looks like it will start
\nearlier than that to review other business. Keep an eye on the agenda for
\nany updates.<\/p>\n
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments and
\ntestimony regarding proposed amendments to Hanover\u2019s Zoning Bylaw, which
\nwill be considered at a Special Town Meeting in December (details about
\nthat meeting to follow – right here on Around Town on the Web!).<\/p>\n
The following amendments have been submitted to the Select Board for
\ninclusion as articles on the warrant for consideration and action at the
\nSpecial Town Meeting. Following the hearing, the Planning Board will vote
\non its recommendations for the Special Town Meeting Warrant articles.
\n\u2022\tEstablish an MBTA Overlay District allowing multi-family housing by
\nright within designated areas.
\n\u2022\tAmend the Zoning Bylaw (Section 10) to align development standards for
