Hanover Woman\u2019s Club, Juniors will once again host its annual Candidates
\nnight on Tuesday, April 28, 2028 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be held as a
\nZoom Webinar. Candidates Night is an annual event hosted by the Club that
\nfeatures candidates running for office in Hanover. The program, led by a
\nmoderator, consists of a short presentation by each candidate running for
\noffice followed by a question-and-answer period. The forum is open to the
\npublic for viewing on Zoom or the Hanover cable channel, channel 36 for
\nVerizon and 8 for Comcast. This gives those attending a chance to hear the
\nviews of the candidates on issues affecting the town. Hearing the
\ncandidates in this setting will give town residents the opportunity to cast
\nan educated vote during town elections on May 16.

There is a total of 9 open seats. On the ballot this spring will be
\nelections for two member of the Select Board for a three-year term, two
\nmembers of the School Committee for a three-year term, one member of the
\nBoard of Assessors for a three- year term, one member of the Planning Board
\nfor a five-year term, one Board of Health member for a three-year term, one
\nTrustee of the Public Library for a three-year term, and one Moderator for
\na one-year term.<\/p>\n
Question Guidelines: They don\u2019t accept questions for individual
\ncandidates. If there is more than one of the same questions, they will be
\ncombined. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, not all questions can be
\nasked. Please indicate which position the question should be directed to.<\/p>\n
The public may submit questions for the candidates to the Club\u2019s email
