?\tI am a nationally and locally recognized mortgage loan originator, a
\nprofession that requires me to evaluate property values, review appraisals,
\nand help homeowners understand how taxes impact their financial decisions.
\n?\tI regularly analyze appraisals, interpret valuation data, and, when
\nnecessary, challenge those values. Just as importantly, I work closely with
\nclients to clearly explain how a value was determined so they can make
\ninformed financial decisions with confidence.
\n?\tI also serve on the Executive Board of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce,
\nwhere I work alongside local business owners to support and advocate for
\nour business community. This experience gives me valuable insight into the
\npriorities and concerns of both residents and businesses in Hanover. <\/p>\n
What are the major issues confronting the town which involve your office?
\nPlease express your opinion on these issues and how you propose to deal
\nwith them.<\/p>\n
?\tHanover\u2019s recent adoption of a split tax rate for commercial
\nproperties will require ongoing evaluation. As a member of the Board of
\nAssessors, collecting accurate data and monitoring the long-term impact of
\nthis policy will be critical in informing future financial decisions for
\nthe town. If elected, I will focus on providing clear, reliable data to
\ntown officials and residents to support responsible fiscal planning.
\n?\tRising home values across the South Shore have increased the importance
\nof fair, competitive, and transparent assessments. Homeowners want to
\nunderstand how their property is valued and how it affects their taxes. I
\nwould prioritize clear communication and accessibility, ensuring residents
\nhave the information they need to plan and make informed financial
\ndecisions.
\n?\tThere are a number of potential tax exemptions available to Hanover
\nresidents and businesses. In my conversations with people in town, I have
\nheard mixed responses on the attainability and understanding. If elected, I
\nwould strive to ensure that eligible businesses and homeowners are aware of
\nthe available resources and strive to make them more accessible. <\/p>\n
Why are you running for this office?<\/p>\n
Hanover\u2019s form of government depends on active citizen participation. It
\nis a community shaped by those who show up, get involved, and give back.
\nI have always tried to contribute in that way\u2014through coaching youth
\nsports, serving with the Chamber of Commerce, and participating in town
\nmeetings.
\nWhen I was approached about this opportunity, I saw it as a meaningful way
\nto apply my professional experience in service of the community. I am
\nrunning because I believe I can help local businesses and homeowners ensure
\nthat our property assessments are fair, accurate, and clearly understood.<\/p>\n
