The last day to register to vote at the Annual Town Meeting AND\/OR the
\nAnnual Town Election is Friday, April 24th, 2026. In Hanover, we have a
\ncombined warrant, so there is only one date to register for both events. <\/p>\n
If you have a valid Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles
\nidentification, you can register to vote online. Voter Registration

If you don’t have an ID, you may fill out a mail-in voter registration
\nform. You can also register at the Town Clerk\u2019s Office or the Registrar’s
\nOffice. Please call in advance to make an appointment. You can also
\nregister to vote at any Registry of Motor Vehicles office. <\/p>\n
In Hanover, a voter must meet the following qualifications to register to
\nvote:
\n\u2022\tMust be a U.S. citizen
\n\u2022\tMust be a Hanover resident
\n\u2022\tMust be at least 16 years old and understand that they must be 18 years
\nold to be eligible to vote
\n\u2022\tNot under guardianship, which prohibits registering to vote
\n\u2022\tNot temporarily or permanently disqualified by law from voting because
\nof corrupt practices in respect to elections
\n\u2022\tNot currently incarcerated for a felony conviction<\/p>\n
If you are currently registered to vote in Hanover, you do not need to
\nregister again! For more information, please contact the Registrar of
