Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Now is the time to start the Vote by Mail process! Applications are only
\ngood for a calendar year, so even if you have voted by mail before, you
\nmust start the process over again for 2026.<\/p>\n
This option is available to all registered Hanover voters in advance of the
\nAnnual Town Election on May 16, 2026. Applications must be received in the
\nTown Clerk’s Office by 5:00 pm on the fifth business day before each
\nelection. For the upcoming election, this means you need to request your
\nballot by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026. <\/p>\n

Once your application is received and your voter registration is confirmed,
\na ballot will be mailed to you via USPS. The Postal Service recommends
\nallowing 7 days for a ballot to get from one side of Hanover to the other!
\nDon’t delay, request your ballot today!<\/p>\n
After you’ve filled out your mail-in ballot, it must be received by the
\nTown Clerk’s Office no later than the close of polls. For the upcoming
\nelection, that’s 6:00 p.m. on May 16, 2026. If the office is closed, please
\nuse the ballot drop box in front of Town Hall to return your ballot.<\/p>\n
