The first of five walking tours is THIS SATURDAY 5\/9! This first tour will
\nmeet outside the John Curtis Free Library at 534 Hanover Street, Hanover.<\/p>\n
The Hanover Historical Society will lead a series of walking tours of five
\nareas in town on the second Saturday of each month, May through September.
\nEach tour will focus on what a particular neighborhood was like in 1776,
\n250 years ago, during the American Revolution. Hanover was a bustling
\ncommunity of farms, fields, mills, shipyards, and iron forges, located
\nalong the main road from Boston to Plymouth. The tours will point out what
\nremains from 1776 and what doesn\u2019t in the five locations. Each tour
\nstarts at 1:00 p.m., will last approximately one hour, and will occur rain
