Hanover’s tribute to our fallen veterans begins at 10:00 a.m. on Monday,
\nMay 25th.<\/p>\n
The parade begins at Saint Mary\u2019s Church, 392 Hanover Street. It proceeds
\nto the Civil War Memorial, then continues to Hanover Center Cemetery to
\nhonor World War I soldiers at the Josselyn and Cummings plots, the Tomb of
\nthe Unknown Soldier, deceased police and fire personnel, and American
\nLegion and VFW memorials. The parade then returns to the Civil War Memorial
\nto honor Civil War, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans;
\ncontinues to Hanover Town Hall for an additional Korean, Vietnam, and World
\nWar II tribute; proceeds to the area beside Stetson House to recognize
\nRevolutionary War soldiers; and continues to the Sylvester School building
\nto honor World War I soldiers. The parade concludes at the Hanover Veterans
\nMemorial, 495 Hanover Street (in front of the B. Everett Hall Field, where
\na ceremony begins at approximately 11:30 a.m. with special guest Todd
\nAngilly, the Boston Bruins national anthem singer. The ceremony will also
\ninclude an opening prayer, remarks from local veterans, and a roll call
\nduring the wreath-laying tribute. For more information about veteran’s
