From the good folks at the Historical Society:<\/p>\n
Assinippi walking tour Saturday, July 11th, 2026, 1:00 p.m., meet at the
\nfront of Union Cemetery at 12 Webster Street.<\/p>\n
The Hanover Historical Society will lead a series of walking tours of five
\nareas in town on the
\nsecond Saturday of each month, May through September. Each tour will focus
\non what a
\nparticular neighborhood was like in 1776, 250 years ago, during the
\nAmerican Revolution.
\nHanover was a bustling community of farms, fields, mills, shipyards, and
\niron forges, located
\nalong the main road from Boston to Plymouth. Each tour will last
\napproximately one hour and
\nwill occur rain or shine.<\/p>\n
