ICYMI (“In case you missed it”!), there’s a State Primary Election on
\nTuesday, September 1, 2026. By now you’ve received your Vote by Mail
\npostcard from the State, and if you wanted to vote by mail, hopefully
\nyou’ve sent it in. The Hanover election crew has received over 1500
\napplications, thank you! (Now just send your voted ballot back! :) )<\/p>\n
At this point, with only two weeks left before the election, we’re on to
\nthe other three voting options for the State Primary. Go here for more

\nBefore she left for school, Paisley learned how to write a press release
\nand very capably summed up one of the other voting options. Thanks for all

Intern Paisley Stevens announced today that in person absentee voting has
\nopened for the election scheduled for September 1st, 2026.<\/p>\n
Hello fellow Hanover residents. It is finally that time of year again and
\nwe have two elections incoming. In person absentee voting has opened for
\nthe September 1st election. This is the State Primary election. If you\u2019re
\neligible, we recommend you to vote, it is your right and civil duty! If one
\nof the situations below applies to you, you are able to vote absentee:
\n1.\tIf you will be absent from Hanover during polling hours
\n2.\tIf you have a physical disability
\n3.\tIf you have a religious belief that prevents you from coming to the
\npolls on Election Day<\/p>\n
You can access an Absentee Ballot application either online or in person.
\nIf you choose to come in person, you must call the Town Clerk\u2019s Office to
\nmake an appointment. Applications must be applied for by 12:00 noon, August
\n31st, the day before the election.<\/p>\n
