Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

With all the rain we =
\nhad in
\nJune, the mosquitoes have been brutal!  This information was posted =
\non the
\ntown’s website recently and I thought it would be of =
\ninterest:  <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Residents
\nof Hanover can request their property be sprayed for mosquitoes free of =
\ncharge.
\nSpraying is done by the Plymouth County Mosquito Control Project and =
\ntypically
\ntakes place between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday – Friday.  =
\nPlease e-mail
\nyour request to be sprayed to <\/span>health@hanover-ma.gov =
\n<\/span>. You must include your street address, last name =
\nand your
\nphone number. You may only request your property to be sprayed.  =
\nEach property
\nowner must send their own e-mail.  It would be most effective if as =
\nmany people
\non your street request spraying at the same time. If you do not have =
\naccess to
\na computer, you may call the Hanover Health Office at (781) 826-4611 =
\n(e-mails
\nare preferred).  For a description of the pesticides most commonly =
\nused at
\nPlymouth County Mosquito Control Project, or a list of frequently asked
\nquestions, please visit their website at <\/span>www.plymouthmosquito.com =
\n.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I will add that my neighbors and I sent in our =
\nrequests two
\nweeks ago, and we were finally sprayed this morning.  According to =
\nthe folks at
\nMosquito Control, they have been backed up because of the rain.  So =
\nit does take
\nsome time!  Just fyi.<\/p>\n
