Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
On September 8, the winning names for all the great baskets which have been
\nat the library since Hanover Day (June 20) were pulled. Congratulations to
\nall of the lucky winners! <\/p>\n
Sandra Long won this year’s "Good Life" basket (retail value of $650) which
\nincluded 4 tickets to the Boston Ballet’s Nutcracker (donated by the Boston
\nBallet) and $50 worth of best-selling goods from Trader Joe’s in addition to
\na beautiful garden sculpture, Zumba lessons, wine, and more. <\/p>\n
Donna Nofi’s name was drawn for the "Hanover" basket which contained a
\n3-month family membership to the YMCA (thanks to our local YMCA), 5 tickets
\nto the Patriot Cinema, a Hanover sweatshirt, games, and several gift
\ncertificates (retail value of $685). <\/p>\n
Finally, Hannah Condon took home the coveted American Girl doll, Chrissa,
\nalong with some doll clothes, books, and a DVD (retail value of $185). <\/p>\n
Many thanks go to all the vendors mentioned above who donated offerings to
\nthe baskets along with much appreciation to the Toy Box, Karen Lee Flowers,
\nHome Spirits, the Pottery Playce, Storybook Cove, Elizabeth Grady, Panera,
\nDunkin Donuts, the Blampieds, Massachusetts Audubon, the South Shore Natural
\nScience Center, Starland, Rockland Athletic Supplies, and ZYP Fitness Plus.
\nThe Friends also thank the hundreds of patrons who participated in this
\ngreat fundraiser by purchasing tickets for $1 each (6 for $5). All proceeds
\nfrom this event will benefit future library programs and acquisitions. <\/p>\n
