The Hanover Cultural Council and Hanover Diversity Committee are pleased to
\noffer a free community concert with the Halalisa Singers (www.halalisa.org
\n ) on Sunday, November 1st at 3:00 p.m. at St.
\nAndrew’s Episcopal Church in Hanover.<\/p>\n
The Halalisa Singers are the greater Boston area’s premier world music
\nensemble. Halalisa is the Zulu word for "celebration", and in that spirit,
\nthe Halalisa repertoire includes African, Latin, American Spiritual, Gospel,
\nJewish, Folk and Jazz music. The Halalisa Singers are inspired by the
\nbelief that music is a universal language with the power to uplift and unite
\nus all. <\/p>\n
There will be a social hour with refreshments following the concert. Bring
\nyour family and friends for an uplifting afternoon of music filled with joy,
\nhope and light. The Diversity Committee also welcomes you to bring along a
\nnonperishable donation for the Hanover Food Pantry.<\/p>\n
