Sustainable Hanover is holding a meeting Monday, October 26th, at the
\nlibrary. The meeting starts at 6:30, and a video will be shown shortly
\nafter that.<\/p>\n
Sustainable Hanover is a group of environmentally aware people interested in
\nimproving the ecological health of Hanover through educational programs and
\nactivities, as well as working with other groups, organizations, the
\nbusiness sector, and our town government.<\/p>\n
The group currently works with 18 other South Shore towns as part of
\nSustainable South Shore – a Chapter of MCAN (Mass Climate Action Network).
\nThey participate in local events such as Hanover Mall’s Earth Day Festival,
\nthe South Shore Natural Science Center’s Earth Day program, the YMCA’s
\nEco-Friendly Family Fun Day, and Hanover Day. They also host nature walks,
\nrecycling events, and educational programs. Volunteers are encouraged to
\nshare their ideas, talents, time, and skills. Feel free to visit them online
