The Hanover Lions Club is having their famous Annual Pancake Breakfast this
\ncoming Sunday, November 15th from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Phoenix
\nLodge. If you have not ever attended a Lions event, I am here to tell you
\nthat those guys can cook! Don’t miss the chance to take the whole family.
\nAdults are $5.00, seniors and children $4.00, and children under 6 are free.<\/p>\n
All proceeds are donated to Lions’ charities. Approximately $16,500 has
\nbeen donated annually to Hanover scout troops, the Hanover Food Pantry,
\nveterans and families at Christmas, the Hanover Council on Aging, the
\nHanover Visiting Nurse Association, the North River Collaborative, the
\nScholastic Awards night at the High School, the South Shore Hospice, and the
\nMassachusetts Lion Eye Research fund, which annually provides close to $1M
\nin "seed" money for research into all fields of blindness and eye related
\ndiseases.<\/p>\n
