Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Perhaps you will remember the efforts mentioned in this space that Hanover
\nresidents have made on behalf of the Bill Masse Family of Hanover. Bill is
\nthe father of eight children and he continues to fight pancreatic cancer.
\nBill and Kathy Masse’s church in Norwell recently ran a golf tournament to
\nsupport the Masse Family, and thanks to Debbie O’Neil, Hanover residents
\nstepped up to the plate to help out, too. I recently received a note in the
\nmail from the organizers that reads as follows:<\/p>\n
"Thanks to your generous donations and your willingness to come out and
\nsupport the Masse family on Monday, October 26th, we were able to hand the
\nMasse Family a check for over $20,000 dollars. In addition, more donations
\nare still coming in and this will help lift some financial burdens for this
\nwonderful family. It will also allow Bill to focus more on getting the rest
\nhe needs right now, which is not so easy for a man who has worked hard to
\nsupport his family for many years. When (we) met with Bill and Kathy, they
\nwere absolutely blown away by all the love and generosity that people have
\nshown towards them. We reassured them that it is because they are so easy
\nto love."<\/p>\n
For all of you who reached deep into your pockets after reading about the
\nMasse Family right here on "Around Town on the Web", thanks for being a part
\nof our town’s efforts. It is one of the things I love most about living
\nhere in Hanover.neighbors helping neighbors. <\/p>\n
