Before entering private<br \/>\npractice, Tim spent nearly 10 years at the Disability Law Center and more<br \/>\nthan 15 years working with other legal services programs in 3 states. Tim<br \/>\nhas represented hundreds of families in matters before the Bureau of Special<br \/>\nEducation Appeals and the state and federal courts on special education<br \/>\nissues. He has also worked with parents groups on legislative and regulatory<br \/>\nissues pertaining to special education and health issues.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s basic rights workshop will include a review of Federal and State<br \/>\nlaws &#8211; 504 &amp; IDEA, eligibility determination and the IEP process.
