Happy Thanksgiving to all!<\/p>\n
The holidays are here, and for those of you who wish to show your
\nappreciation to your child’s teacher, consider purchasing a Golden Apple
\nrecognition card. Sponsored by the Hanover Foundation for Educational
\nEnrichment, this program was created to honor any Hanover educator,
\nincluding teachers, aides, administrators, coaches or any person who assists
\nin the education of your child. <\/p>\n
For a donation of $10 to the HFEE, you will receive a Golden Apple Award
\ncard to give to the person of your choosing. This year’s card was made by
\nMartha’s Vineyard pastel artist Chetta Kelley, who is an HFEE supporter and
\nwhose grandchildren attend Hanover Public Schools. Just complete the inside
\nof the card with your personal information, seal it in the enclosed
\nenvelope, and present it to the staff person you wish to honor.<\/p>\n
Your Golden Apple donation to the Foundation supports educational enrichment
\nprograms and will impact many students in the Hanover school system. This
\nyear the Foundation awarded over $15,000 in grants to teachers in all grades
\nof the Hanover Public Schools.<\/p>\n
Golden Apple cards will be sold at the HFEE booth at the Craft Fair on
\nDecember 5 held at the Hanover Middle School. Cards may also be purchased by
