Junior Girl Scout Troop 80843 is working towards earning their Bronze Award
\nwhich is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. This award shows
\nthat the girls have made a commitment to help others by making the world a
\nbetter place and to be the best they can be. Troop 80843 has decided to
\nbegin in their community by partnering with the Scituate Animal Shelter to
\nassist them with their fundraising efforts. As such, they will be at the
\nHanover Newcomers Club Holiday Craft Fair at the Hanover Middle School on
\nSaturday, 12\/5 from 9 to 3. They have made brownies in a jar and a special
\nholiday snack mix in a jar, as well as a few other items. A portion of
\nthese proceeds will be used to support the shelter’s wish list. In
\naddition, they will also have the 2010 Paw Prints Pet Photo Calendar that
\nthey will be selling on behalf of the Scituate Animal Shelter. All proceeds
\nfrom the pet calendars will benefit the homeless animals in the care of the
\nshelter. Please stop by to support a great cause while picking up some
\ngreat gifts for holiday gift-giving, a birthday, new house or just plain old
\ngift from the heart.<\/p>\n
