By now you have surely heard the terrible news about the earthquake in Haiti
\nand the devastation it has caused. Long-time ATOTW readers will also
\nremember the previous efforts of Jou Nouvo founder and Hanover resident
\nKerline Tofuri to help residents of Bon-Repos, Haiti. For more information

I was so thankful to learn that Kerline’s family is safe and well, but as
\nshe writes, she is "very anxious to hear from friends and co-workers in the
\nPartners in Development\/Jou Nouvo projects". Kerline "was scheduled to fly
\nout this morning; now I am planning to go down with Partners In
\nDevelopment’s medical team and a group of Haitian organizers in Somerville
\non a rescue mission in the days to come". <\/p>\n
Kerline’s further words say it best:<\/p>\n
"Please help spread the word to the Hanover community. For the relief
\nefforts, I am asking for donations of gauze, bandages, antibiotics, and pain
\nrelief medications. People who would like to donate can (e-mail me at
\nkerline@pidonline.org), call me (at 781-826-9164) or drop off medical
\nsupplies at my house (168 Grove Street, Hanover). Partners In Development
\nhas also set up an emergency relief fund for the earthquake victims in
