Community Recreation Programs at Cardinal Cushing Centers begin on January

After-school and Saturday programs include arts and crafts, sports and
\nfitness, cooking, bowling, Special Olympics Basketball (3 levels), Special
\nOlympics Nordic Skiing, Special Olympics Young (under 8) Athletes Program,
\nCheerleading and Pep Squad, SibShops Support Group, Zumba Aerobics, Yoga,
\nRhythmic Arts, and Social Skills Hour. <\/p>\n
Programs are designed for students with cognitive challenges looking to
\nbuild friendships, increase their independence, and improve their athletic
\nand social skills. February and April vacation recreation programs are also
\navailable. Supportive, energetic, professional instructors provide
\nencouragement to children and young adults from age 6 to 22. Quality
\nfacilities at Cardinal Cushing School include a state-of-the-art gymnasium,
\nfull-service kitchens, exercise rooms and equipment, and costs are
\nreasonable. Some programs involve off-campus settings in the community.
