The Spirit of Hanover Community Service Award Committee is accepting
\nnominations for the recipient of the 9th Annual Spirit of Hanover Community
\nService Award.<\/p>\n
This Award is presented annually to an individual who best exemplifies the
\nspirit of Hanover by voluntarily giving selflessly of their time, energy and
\ntalent to the Town and its citizens thus enriching our lives, fostering a
\ntrue sense of community and inspiring us all to a higher level of service.<\/p>\n
Nominations should be in writing and should articulate in detail how the
\nnominee satisfies these criteria.<\/p>\n
Nominations must be postmarked no later than February 19, 2010 and should be
\naddressed to:<\/p>\n

Nominations may also be submitted electronically no later than February 19,

Past recipients of the Award include Mrs. Virginia Szejnar, Mrs. Barbara
\nBarker, Mr. Richard "Dick" Eaton, Mrs. Jean Migre, Mrs. Lois Van Doren, Mr.
\nJohn Thomson, Mrs. Barbara Itz, and Mrs. Catherine Harder-Bernier.<\/p>\n
Receipt of the Award is commemorated by having the recipient’s name
\ninscribed on a perpetual plaque which is prominently displayed in the foyer
\nof the Town Hall. <\/p>\n
