Many<br \/>\ngardens need a shot of color in July and August after spring flowers have<br \/>\npassed to enliven the background of green. Typically gardeners rely on<br \/>\nannuals for this purpose, but there are many trees, shrubs, perennials and<br \/>\ngrasses that can provide mid-summer interest with a minimum of care.<\/p>\n<p>Speaker Laura Eisener, a well-known Saugus landscape designer, has taught<br \/>\nfor over 20 years at the Landscape Institute of Arnold Arboretum. In her own<br \/>\nlandscape design firm she specializes in unique residential landscapes. She<br \/>\nis the 2007 Massachusetts Horticultural Society silver medal winner for<br \/>\nnoteworthy accomplishments in the horticultural industry.<\/p>\n<p>To reserve seating, call Louise Sironi at 781-826-8421.
