I am so thrilled to bring you the following update from Kerline Tofuri,
\nHanover’s connection to the earthquake in Haiti. Godspeed, Kerline.<\/p>\n
I leave for Haiti today with the Partners In Development Assessment Team. We
\nare flying out to the Dominican Republic, and from there to Haiti. After
\nthis assessment, the medical teams will start to go to Haiti and will be
\nworking in 3 or 4 different locations. Each medical team will take suitcases
\nof the medical supplies we have collected . <\/p>\n
I would like to express my gratitude to all who had reached out by
\ncalling\/emailing as they continue to pray for my family and the people of
\nHaiti. Thank you to all who donated medical supplies\/other necessary items
\nand those who made monetary donations. Thank you to all of the Hanover
\nchildren who are thinking of sending messages of hope to the children in
\nHaiti.<\/p>\n
During the next two weeks, I will continue to collect medical supplies and
\nother items such as school supplies, clothing, toothbrushes, tents, and
\nFrench and low level English books for children. While I am away, all who
\nwish to donate can drop off supplies at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church,
\nlocated at 17 Church Street; office hours are 9 – 1 p.m., Monday through
\nThursday. <\/p>\n
