The community is invited to help sponsor the Hanover Education Foundation’s
\nannual benefit "A Night at the Races". Enjoy all the anticipation and
\nexcitement of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, March 27, at the Knight of
\nColumbus Hall in Pembroke. Gather with friends and neighbors to cheer your
\nfavorite horse or jockey to the finish line in the Race for the Roses! <\/p>\n
Become a sponsor of one of our pre-recorded horse races today. For a
\ndonation of only $20 you may name a jockey after a favorite teacher or your
\nvery own horse in honor of a student or a special someone. Or, you may wish
\nto sponsor and name the entire race and all ten horses for a donation of
\n$150. Sponsorship will be on a first come, first served basis.<\/p>\n
All proceeds go to support the Foundation’s Grant Awards Program. Since its
\ninception, the Foundation has worked to raise more than $200,000 toward
\ninnovative opportunities which benefit children throughout the schools
\nincluding: Dirt, TI Smart View, Interwrite Mobi, Document Cameras, Windmill
\nWorkshop, Museum of Science Traveling programs, Rachel’s Challenge, Food
\nPlay, the Clothesline Project., Amazing Hero Art, Lego Robotics, Smart Music
\nand more. For tickets or additional information please call (781) 878-2714.<\/p>\n
If you are able to become a sponsor, please return your check with the names
\nof your horse or jockey, no later than March 1, to the: HANOVER FOUNDATION
\nFOR EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT, and mail to P.O Box 1144, Hanover. Forms are
\nalso available at the John Curtis Free Library. Sponsors will be gratefully
\nacknowledged in our program booklet. Thank you for your support and please
