Mac McHale and Emery Hutchins will appear at the John Curtis Library on
\nWednesday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. With banjo, mandolin, guitar, concertina,
\nbodran, octave mandolin, and vocal harmonies, Two Old Friends tell a story
\nin music of how immigrants came to this country from Ireland, Scotland, and
\nGreat Britain, bringing their melodies and their instruments. The concert
\nwill offer ballads and foot stomping tunes, gospel sing-a-longs, traditional
\nIrish tunes and storytelling——-something for everyone! <\/p>\n
There is no charge for admission. This program is available through a grant
\nfrom the Hanover Cultural Council and through the generosity of the Friends
\nof the Library. <\/p>\n
