Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n

If you were like me and thought you’d be going to Town
\nMeeting again tonight, think again. For the first time in my memory,
\nHanover’s Annual Town Meeting was held with little debate or fanfare and
\nconcluded in one evening. The $45 million dollar budget passed without a
\nsingle question (thanks for all of your hard work, Ad Comm) and significant
\namounts of money were allocated from the Community Preservation Fund for
\nexpenditures such as the Salmond School boiler, spec work for ADA accessibility
\nat Sylvester School, and the completion of the fields at King Street\/Forge Pond
\nPark. Earlier, at the Special Town Meeting, the town agreed to maintain
\nthe ball fields near Center School rather than resurrect the bonfire.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Now, it is on to a much more hotly debated topic…the
\nTown Elections! See you at the polls on Saturday! Stay tuned for
\nsome detailed information about some more of the candidates.<\/p>\n
