Spring is in the air, the kids are outside (as they should
\nbe!), and it is therefore time for an “Around Town on the Web”
\nreminder to be vigilant about our children’s safety. The latest
\non-line information indicates that there are five Level 3 sex offenders living
\nor working in Hanover, and nine Level 2 offenders. The Sex Offender Registry Board has determined that Level 3
\nindividuals have a high risk to reoffend and
\nthat the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial
\npublic safety interest is served by active community notification.<\/p>\n

\n. I routinely show my teenagers the latest pictures of the Level 3
\noffenders just so that they know who to stay away from.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the town passed a new General By-Law at Town
\nMeeting that regulates where sex offenders may live and spend their time.
\nThe by-law still needs to be approved by the Attorney General to take
