SUMMER RAFFLE BASKETS ARE NOW UP AT THE LIBRARY:<\/p>\n
Here’s another great reason to go to the library this
\nsummer. On June 28th, the Friends of the John Curtis Library
\nput up our summer raffle baskets which will be displayed at the downstairs
\ncirculation desk at the library until Labor Day. This year, we have two
\nbeautiful baskets: An American Girl basket (retail value of $270)
\nwith this year’s new doll, Lanie, along with many related items including a
\nhand-made rabbit garden sculpture, and a Hanover basket (retail value of
\n$700) with a 3-month family membership to the South Shore YMCA in addition to
\nlots of gift certificates and donations from local businesses. Please be
\nsure to look for these baskets at the library for a complete listing of all the
\nbasket contents which include additional donations from the Toy Box, Storybook
\nCove, Starland, Rockland Athletic Supplies, JC’s Ice Cream, Crossroads Cafe
\n& Deli, Go-Go’s Cafe & Catering, Dunkin Donuts, The Cleaner Spot
\nDry Cleaners, Mass Lottery, and the Blampieds (hand-sculpted garden
\nornament). Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and may be purchased at the
\nlibrary during regular library hours until Labor Day. Buy often and buy
\nlots! We will draw the winning tickets immediately after Labor Day.
\nAll proceeds from this event will benefit future library programs and
\nacquisitions.<\/p>\n
