\nat the new Hanover Parks and Recreation Center!<\/p>\n

The American Red Cross and the Hanover community are holding
\na blood drive to support the community blood supply for patients in need.
\nEvery two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and every pint
\ndonated could save up to three lives.<\/p>\n

The Red Cross is urging the public to make an appointment to
\ndonate blood at the below location by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or logging on
\nto www.RedCrossBlood.org
\n. <\/p>\n

The American Red Cross Blood Services – Northeast Division
\nmust distribute approximately 3,000 units of blood each day just to meet the
\nbasic needs of area patients. Individuals who are at least 17 years of age (16
\nwith parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in generally good
\nhealth, may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and donors 18
\nyears of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight
\nrequirements. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form
\nof positive ID when you come to donate..<\/p>\n
