The Hanover Foundation for
\nEducational Enrichment (HFEE) will host its opening meeting of the school year
\non Thursday, September 23, 7:30 p.m., at the home of Heather Carr, 31 Ash Lane.
\n We encourage anyone interested to attend. The Hanover Foundation is a
\nnon-profit organization founded in 1991 to provide enrichment of the curriculum
\nof the Hanover Public Schools. In the past four years, the Foundation has
\nallocated $70,000 to the schools. Last year, the High School received funding
\nfor the performance “Dirt”, a Jazz Artist and Clinician, and
\ntechnology such as Interwrite Mobi with Kwik Screen and TI Smart View. The
\nMiddle School was the recipient of two document cameras, funding for Cricket
\nRobotics and the Freedom Trail School Visiting Program. Cedar School received
\nfunding for materials called The Six Traits. Center\/Sylvester School benefited
\nfrom programs such as Tidepool Alive!, The Windmill Workshop, and Discovery
\nEducation Technology.<\/p>\n
