\nDedication <\/p>\n
Art Ceurvels served on the Parks and Recreation Committee
\nfrom 1988 – 2006 and is directly responsible for much of the well known growth
\nof the Parks and Recreation Department during that time. In the late
\n90’s, with the help of the National Guard, Art organized the expansion of the
\nMyrtle Street Fields to include a full size little league field, a Babe Ruth
\nfield, basketball courts, a picnic area, as well as a small multipurpose field.
\n In May of 2010, the Town Meeting passed a motion to rename Myrtle Field
\n"Arthur Ceurvels, Jr. Park". The rededication of this facility
\nis set to take place on September 11th at 9:00 a.m. on site at
\nMyrtle Street. The Parks and Recreation Committee would like to invite
\nall residents of Hanover to attend this event and join in the celebration of
\nall the work that Art has done for the Town of Hanover. <\/p>\n
