Festival of Trees at the Stetson House

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Hanover Historical Society will be hosting the first annual
Festival of Trees December 5th to the 8th. This celebration of the
season will feature Christmas Trees that are donated and decorated by
local community groups, families, and businesses. The trees will
highlight the Stetson House museum’s new design which now features a
chronological tour of Hanover’s history through the museum. Museum
rooms will have interactive activities run by educators.

On Thursday December 5th and Friday December 6th the Stetson House
museum will be open for candlelight tours from 6-8 pm with hot apple
cider served in the barn. These tours will be $10 general
admission/$25 max per family. Over the weekend, Saturday December 7th
and Sunday December 8th, the museum will be open from 1-4 pm. These
tours will be $5 general admission/$20 max per family. Children 10 and
under are free for all tours. Participants will receive raffle tickets
when they enter the museum. There will be a glass bowl in front of
each Christmas tree which visitors can place raffle tickets. On
Sunday, there will be a drawing for each tree. Hope you will join the
Hanover Historical Society in celebrating this season of warmth and
giving.
