Coach of the Year here in Hanover?

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

She’s an institution.  She’s an icon.
She’s a trailblazer.  She’s a role model.  She should be
our “Coach of the Year”.

For over 40 years, Judy Schneider has coached varsity field
hockey in the town of Hanover.  She coached basketball for a few decades,
too.  I had the distinct privilege of being her freshman coach for about 5
years in the mid-1990’s and can tell you that she taught me all of the
foundations that I have ever needed in my current career.  She has molded
countless lives and won hundreds and hundreds of games.  Legions of
Hanover’s women are proud to call her their Coach.

It doesn’t get any better than Judy Schneider.
Please join me in voting for her as the boston.com “Coach of the Year”.
Coach Schneider had been
nominated by Erika Stearns as a coach of the year in a Boston Globe contest.  The
winner will get a visit from Paul Pierce to the school.  The winner will be
determined by the number of votes.  Go to this page to start the process:

A short way
down on the page and on the right side is a graphic with Paul Pierce on it that
says "Vote Now." Click on that link and it will take you to the pages
describing the coaches who have been nominated.  Judy is on page 5, and
wearing a yellow sweater.  I had trouble with the website, and found that I
needed to click on the “click for more…” link on the right
hand side of Judy’s (and all the other) pages to see why she was nominated
(not that I questioned it…I was actually just checking out the
competition!).  Votes are made and taken on page 7.

She
deserves OUR votes.  Our town is lucky to have her in our midst.
Please vote TODAY.  And thanks, Judy, for all you have done and continue
to do.  Regardless of the outcome, you have no equal.
