Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The following letter was recently sent to me by the good folks
at the Hanover Foundation:
The Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment has
recently sent out its annual mailing asking residents to support the many
exciting and innovative programs the Foundation funds as part of its grants
program. Please consider making a donation. We need your support! It is through
the community’s financial support that this organization continues to
thrive and grow. The HFEE is a volunteer, non-profit organization with a
broad mission to foster excellence and innovation in the education of young
people in the Hanover schools. Since its inception in 1991, the Foundation
has raised over $170,000 for enrichment of the curriculum to benefit students
at all grade levels. Through its competitive grants program each fall, teachers
are eligible to receive grant funding for new and innovative proposals. Grants
are selected for educational purposes only and are not used to cover salary or
administrative costs. Projects are funded which are not normally included in
the school budget. These grants enhance the educational opportunities for Hanover’s
students and are not meant as a substitute for community funding. Our
commitment to excellence has been possible because of the loyal support of
people like you.

The Foundation believes that a commitment to a strong and
vibrant educational system benefits the entire Hanover community – its
residents, businesses, and, most importantly, its children. We strive to
facilitate projects like these every year, but we cannot do this alone. Your
donation of time, money, and/or services, demonstrates that you share this
belief. You may send your tax-deductible donation to: Hanover Foundation
for Educational Enrichment, P.0. Box 1144, Hanover, MA 02339 (ID#
043161682).
Sincerely,
Larry DiNardo, President
