Friends of the Stetson House invite you to celebrate the holidays

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

It’s hard to believe that the holidays are around the corner! Below please
find some great information and lots of dates for your calendar from the
good folks at the Stetson House:

"Ring the Christmas Bells"
This is the 28th year that the Stetson House has been welcoming Christmas to
Hano-ver, and the theme this year is "Ring the Christmas Bells". Many
different Christmas songs and carols will ring.

ORNAMENTS ARE BACK
Yvonne Bright has designed the classic "Bells" ornament for this year’s 2010
Christmas ornament. Ornaments may be purchased through the Friends of the
Stetson House for $10 each and picked up at the Stetson House concert or
during the opening weekend. Please make out and send your checks to:
Friends of the Stetson House, P.O. Box 2064 in Hanover, or call Barbara
Barker Kemp at 781-826-6254.

Preview Party and Concert
On Friday December 3rd, the Stetson House will open its doors from 6:15 p.m.
to 7:45 p.m. for a special preview. Attending the Preview Party at the
Stetson House has become the tra-dition to welcome the holiday season in
Hanover. The House is at its best as the win-dow candles will be turned on
for the first time, and the rooms will glow with holiday cheer.

The preview opening of the Stetson House is followed by a special holiday
concert at 8:00 p.m. given by the Harbour Choral Arts Society, which was
founded in Hanover. It is directed by David A. Williams, an accomplished
music professional, who has provided 18+ years of service to the choral
arts. The concert will be presented at the Congregational Church across the
street from the Stetson House. After the concert, ticket holders are
invited to Congregational Church’s Parish Hall (Riley Hall) for refreshments
and a social time.

Tickets are limited and are $10 each. This includes the evening tour of the
Stetson House, the concert, and wonderful refreshments. Tickets may be
ordered through the Friends of the Stetson House, P.O. Box 2064 in Hanover
(they will be mailed to you if you include a self-addressed, stamped
envelope) or purchased at the John Curtis Library or at the Town Clerk’s
office on the lower level of the Town Hall. Don’t miss this gala evening.
The table topiaries and decorations will be on sale that evening.
