Dear fellow Hanoverians:
I am a complete pushover when it comes to Hanover’s future leaders asking me
for support. I hope you are, too! Today I received the following request
from Emily Abi-Kheirs, Senior Class President at HHS. Emily and her friends
in Hanover High’s Student Government are trying their hand at some creative
fundraising for their prom and other senior year expenses. Please join me
in supporting them! The more votes they get, and the faster they get them,
the more money they might be able to raise. Here are Emily’s directions:
"Hanover High School’s Senior Class is registered at the following website.
Please register and vote as many times as you’d like for Hanover High
School.
http://contest.stumpsparty.com/index.cfm?oom=vote&group=MA
Prizes are awarded according to the number of votes we have. The more votes
we receive, the bigger the prizes become. Prizes are awarded at 1,000;
10,000; 50,000; 125,000; 250,000; and 1,000,000. Help us reach 1,000,000
votes to offset the cost of prom! Money can then be used towards graduation,
senior banquet, senior lunches, yearbooks, video yearbooks, senior t-shirts,
and much more!
Voting ends March 16, please do all you can to vote!
Please spread this link to all your friends and family! Thank you for your
time and support!"
So, I voted and then checked the standings as of Wednesday, January 19,
2011. They are as below:
