Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Hanover-based soccer club Excelsior United Football Club is proud to partner
with the Hanover Food Pantry to host a one month food drive at Shaw’s
Supermarket, Route 53 in Hanover. The "Tag A Shelf" event will kick off
April 1.
Each player from the team will decorate 5 arrows to be placed throughout
Shaw’s, highlighting items that the food pantry has deemed most necessary.
Their hope is that a child’s personal message will encourage shoppers to
donate to the food pantry. Once the tags are up in the store, they will
encourage you and your children to visit Shaw’s, look for their personal
messages, and donate to the pantry.
Special thanks to the Whitman-Hanson High School students that created and
launched this innovative, grassroots program. For more information about
