Dear fellow Hanoverians:
The Hanover Newcomers is a social club for women who enjoy making new
friends and participating in various activities including social
outings, family events, and community service. One need not be “new”
to Hanover to be a member and the fall is a great time to join! New
member events will be happening throughout the next few months and
playgroups are forming now too. The board has been busy planning some
great family activities as well as “ladies only” events. Come meet
some Newcomers members and find out what the club has to offer.
Join Newcomers at their “Welcome Back Social” on Wednesday September
14th from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. This event is casual and open-house
style, so feel free to come anytime and bring a friend or neighbor.

If a daytime outing is better for you, please stop by the Hanover
Parks and Rec Playground (located at the B. Everett Hall Playground
Complex) any Wednesday in September beginning September 14th from 9:30
a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Playgroup co-coordinators Kate Dauphinais and
Heather Meagher will be on site for anyone interested in signing up
for playgroup or joining the club.

(Editor’s note: I met some of the greatest people and some of my
dearest friends at Newcomers almost 20 years ago. In some ways,
indirectly, it also spawned ATOTW because I had such a big e-mail list
from all of those connections I made! Where will Newcomers lead
