Long-time readers will remember the remarkable Hanover resident Julie
Porzio, who so graciously created “Friends of Julie” with her
husband Mark. Friends of Julie is a Hanover-based non-profit
organization that raises funds for parents with late-stage cancer and
their families. The Fund gives directly to the patient so they can
participate in memory making experiences and spend quality time with
their family. Experiences include day trips, vacations, cruises and

Attention Friends of Julie (FOJ): Dine out at the Hanover Uno Chicago
Grill on Thursday, October 27 and help raise some “dough” for FOJ! 20%
of your check that night will go to Friends of Julie. Bring in the
